BBC News Board Advisor

Individual differences strengthen the media industry. I am committed to making the sector more inclusive which is why I spent close to two years as an advisor to the BBC’s news board. I offered clear and honest solutions focused feedback to leaders in the organisation and challenged on certain decision making.

During my time as an advisor, I led an editorial feedback pilot called Another View (AV) which aimed to include more diversity of thought in editorial decision making, especially on stories aimed at audiences that the organisation wants to serve better.

The final project I led as a sit -in member of the News board was the creation of a brand new handbook for new joiners at the . The first of it's kind in the organisations 100-year history.
