The Democratic Republic of Congo is facing a forgotten crisis. According to the UN, the country has one of the largest displaced populations in the world with a greater number of people who there have fled their homes than in Yemen or Afghanistan. In the eastern part of the country where the violence is at its worst, the isolated camp has become a refuge for the displaced.
The UK government says it will arrange another flight to the African country, and insists the scheme will discourage people from crossing the English Channel. I speak on the policy live from the studio

Dancer turned Afrobeat artist Global Boga lost his 24-year-old wife, YouTuber Nicole Thea, last summer. Nicole was eight months pregnant. The couple’s newborn baby son, Reign was delivered by medics , but also died. The cause of her death remains unknown. Her husband - Global Boga, spoke to me in his first broadcast interview since her death.
